Yarn Bombing Manchester
Over the last few months I've been working for Manchester Libraries on a great project funded by Arts Council England running 6 weekly knitting groups across three Libraries in Moss Side, Hulme and Longsight. here is just a sample of the press received more pictures to follow.
Yarn bombing took place in Whitworth Park next to The Whitworth Art Gallery, Crowcraft Park and Hulme Park as part of Hulme Where the Art Is.

Simple book making

Making things happen!
On Tuesday 1st
of May 9 6-9pm at Common (Edge ST, Northern Quarter)
This
month Lo Fi offers a second chance at Book binding. I'm going to demonstrate a variety of book
binding techniques. All materials will be provided for which we will ask a small donation of
£2. If you have some favourite finds then bring em along too, a gorgeous gift
wrap perhaps or a special flyer you don’t want to dispose of? Grandma’s
buttons?
If
you have something you’re already in the middle of or made recently bring it
along for show and tell please. We would love to see!
Common will
take orders for our tea or whatever drinks and nibbles make take your fancy?

Yarn Bombing Manchester
I have just started a 12 week programme of workshops across libraries in Manchester.
in Hulme, Longsight and Powerhouse Libraries
Workshops are completely free and will cover knitting and a wide range of wool based crafts including crochet and felting. and conclude in August with yarn bombing Manchester parks.
